Really, it is not a bad start

With the exception being Putz blowing his first save of the year (something that took him until late July to do last year) and now being on the 15 day DL.

2-1 is not bad, especially with how strong our starting pitching has been.

Sure, we only have the 1 W, but we have 7 innings for two of our starters, and a very low ERA all the way around.

The bats have also been showing up, not so much in terms of HR's, but small ball is getting the job done. Fans are already starting to boo Sexson (.091). I will admit last year I did not like what he was doing. This is a new year, and I think Mac needs to move him out of the 4 spot and into the 6 or 7 spot. He is swinging at bad pitches again, and pitchers seem to have a formula for him: "Make him chase outside, and he is as good as gone." Putting him down the batting order a bit might take the pressure of a 4 hitter off of him and let him focus on getting his swing back.

Another great move is having Lopez bat in the 2 spot. He appears to really be enjoying himself both in the batter box, as well as on the field.

I'll join in booing Sexson - he was on my fantasy team last year and he's horrible until about mid-August (when the final standings in the league were too far gone for me to bother picking him back up). What exactly does he do during spring training?
